The biggest issue confronting us is in our opinion is climate change and aging, aged care management. The best way to tackle these issues is through education. But how do you segment each market and address the needs of each target group?

The Issue Communications Company® (THEISSUECC) is an education company that specialises in the creation of educational products and services that are designed specifically to appeal to the desired target audience. In doing so, we provide a tangible benefit to stimulate ownership and understanding of the issue being addressed. The goal for us is knowledge transfer that is valued, retained and shared.

We have used this process to develop educational products that are cost neutral and/or create a profit by way of sales or through sponsor funds. These products address issues such as climate change, aged care, accident prevention, skin cancer prevention and obesity.

We deliver cost effective and quantifiable ways to reach your audience as opposed to the ‘hope and pray’ method employed by traditional media.

Briefly about Bernard
Bernard ThompsonHe spent the past 30 years in and around the advertising industry helping companies to launch and/or develop new products to meet the needs of their customers. The ISSUE Communications Company® was founded on the knowledge gained from attacking other issues under our own initiative.

Bernard comes from a communications background, working for large multinational advertising agencies, including George Patterson, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, media brokers and is still actively engaged in the industry.

He left mainstream advertising to 'have a go' at addressing Australia’s status as skin cancer capital of the world and through R&D he initiated and funded, patented reactive dye stuffs that minimiseUV ray penetration through lightweight cotton. Bernard is credited as the founder and father of the global sun protective textile industry that has estimated annual retail sales in excess of US$500 million. See more click here
